Welcoming new and soon‑to‑be puppy owners, the sessions offers a relaxed, supportive
space to explore the early stages of puppy life with guidance from local clinical animal
behaviourist, Emily Sarah.
Slots will be available to book every Thursday between 10am and 1pm for four weeks.
During your visit, you’ll be able to:
- Ask questions
- Learn how to build calm, helpful routines into everyday life
- Pick up practical tips that support your puppy’s confidence and wellbeing
- Get clear advice on products, setups and common early challenges
- Learn gentle handling skills that can support vet visits and grooming sessions later
You’ll also be able to explore a range of recommended products and simple calm‑building
activities, and learn how to use them at home to support your puppy’s emotional
development.
Whether you already have a puppy or are preparing for one, this is a friendly, reassuring
space to gain clarity, confidence and practical skills for a smoother start to your puppy
journey.
“Puppies communicate through subtle signals, and they depend on us to help them
learn key life skills. This includes feeling comfortable alone — because although we’d
love to stay home with them all day, most dogs will need to spend time by themselves,
and without support this can lead to separation‑related problems. They also need
gradual, supported exposure to new experiences and guidance in learning how to
stay calm in our busy, often chaotic world.
Puppies don’t come pre‑programmed; they rely on us to help them make good
choices. This project aims to provide owners with a friendly space to ask questions,
understand what their puppy is communicating, and explore simple, practical ideas
that support healthy development and prevent problems later on.
